The National Willa Cather Center was dedicated on June 3, 2017 by a visit and inspiring speech by Former First Lady Laura Bush. The neo-classical style Auld Public Library was constructed in 1917-18 and was William T. Auld’s generous donation to erect the first permanent library for our community. It was renovated in 2016 and an addition for an elevator, handicap parking and ramp included to make the library completely accessible. It now houses over 10,000 volumes, as well as DVD movies and audio books, and a computer lab. Free wireless internet is also available. www.redcloudlibrary.com
The Red Cloud Golf Club is located 2 miles east and ½ mile north of Red Cloud.
